For the drive of high solids pumps, available hydraulic power rates from 10 hp (7.5 kW) up to 2175 hp (1600 kW). Depending on the quantity of oil needed, an open or closed oil-circuit can be used. The closed oil-circuit is used when reaching large delivery capacities, which means considerable cost-savings. The oil-circuits are designed for hydraulic pressures of up to 4350 psi (300 bar). This equals delivery capacities of up to 2175 psi (150 bar), for a short time up to 2320 psi (160 bar).
